Colour: Deep ruby red. Bouquet: Prune, blackcurrant and cherry aromas come to the fore and are complemented by the subtler oak spice and cigar box notes.

Tasting notes: Lots of berry fruit flavours such as blackcurrant and cherries with undertones of dark chocolate. Food suggestions: Serve with grilled steak dishes, roast beef and strong cheeses.

Colour: Deep ruby. Bouquet: Alluring aromas of blackcurrant and raisins with fruit cake and honey are only rivalled by the Fine Old Vintage’s taste. Tasting notes: The full-bodied, smooth and velvety Touriga Nacional sports blackcurrant and tobacco flavours and its spicy undertone and long-lasting aftertaste round off the experience. The Allesverloren Fine Old Vintage/Port is a jewel of the Swartland and in 2000; the 1993 vintage earned Danie Malan the Peter Schultz Award for excellence in Port production. At Allesverloren, we craft our port predominantly from Tinta Barocca, Souzao, Pontac and a blend of Malvasia Rey.
