Leopard’s Leap Wines was conceptualised at the turn of the century by winemaker and businessman, Hein Koegelenberg, with guidance from his late father-in-law, internationally-renowned business leader, Dr Anton Rupert.

One of the Cape’s largest wine farms, Plaisir de Merle wines are nurtured from the cultivars that grow on the east-facing slopes of the towering, sun-shading Simonsberg.

Cabernet Sauvignon

COLOUR: Dark red BOUQUET: lots of red berrry fruit, spice, cedar and vanilla oak aromas give way to a tantalising taste

TASTE:

this full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon smacks of dark chocolate and ripe fruit which is backed by spices and soft tannins.

FOOD RECOMMENDATIONS:

this incredibly versatile varietal from the Paarl Winelands perfectly complements all red meat dishes.
