This week in our grape to glass series we featured Merlot and the significant role it plays as a cultivar in our beloved Bordeaux style reds!
Our featured winery for the week is situated only 17 kilometres from Stanford in the Western Cape of South Africa in a glen in the Kleinrivier Mountains.
The farm’s proximity to the sea ensures cooling breezes from Walker Bay in the afternoon while the South Easter blowing in from Agulhas on the Indian Ocean reduces the summer heat. 🍇🌊
